LGA (Local Government Affairs) Updates
Updates below are for Members Only

LGA or Local Government Affairs Updates are periodic updates for Members Only on what is happening in CT's municipalities regarding land use and building regulations, ordinances and developments.  Information for these updates is obtained from a variety of sources, but most importantly from HBA members.  HBA members are strongly encouraged to let the HBA know when new local ordinances are proposed or other significant issues arise at the local level that might affect the land development or construction business. 

When a new LGA Update is produced, it is emailed to any member who requests to be on our LGA Update distribution list and a link to the new update is added to this page.  To be placed on the LGA Update list or notify us of what is happening at the local level, please call or email George Rafael, AICP, Director, Local Government Affairs, HBA of CT, and let him know your interest in the HBA's LGA efforts.
